How Flex Delivery Service works

Those who purchase will be constantly updated on the progress of the shipment. Through a link sent via e-mail and/or SMS you can access a management area, both before and after the first failed delivery attempt, where you can choose up to six customization options.

The service provides by default the possibility of selecting a new delivery date or choosing a collection point; but the flexibility doesn't end here because, if you want, you can allocate other delivery options:

Change the expected delivery date

The recipient can choose a new delivery date to be carried out within 3 working days following the originally scheduled one. In case of redelivery it is possible to choose a date within 10 working days following the day of non-delivery.

Choose a new collection point between GLS Headquarters and Parcel Shop

The recipient can choose to have the shipment delivered to a GLS Location or a Parcel Shop that are part of the area of competence of the Location that reaches the original destination address.

Enter a new delivery address

The recipient can indicate an alternative delivery address to their own. Location and street must fall within the managed area of the original destination location.

Indicate a safe place for delivery

The recipient can choose to have the shipment delivered to a safe place (garden, garage, balcony) at the same delivery address.

Authorize delivery to the neighbor

The recipient can choose to have the shipment delivered to a neighbor at the same address as him.
